I can vaguely remember catching parts of that show a few times.
But I more clearly recall being in that car, or one just like it with my Papap. It couldn’t have been later than 1985.
It was at night and I don’t remember how the doors on it opened.
I do remember it telling him to put his seatbelt on; in the same type of visual and voice as the famous K.I.T.T.
Maybe what is also a little interesting to me is that my immediate family member on one side worked for the local N B C affiliate, and my Papap worked for the local newspaper (as a printer or presser, I was told. I do recall being in that Paper’s basement with some kind of fireplace or woodburner near and being worried about Papap inhaling too many fumes from ink and flames).
From maybe age 15 to 17 I would then also work for the TV station, in multiple roles; as part of a teen talk show and movie review segment (ugh, how brutally embarrassing. I was such a meek little mouse), as the fill-in front desk receptionist and operator, and then also as a videographer (a very low tech kind) for local live sports games.
Ever so slightly interesting to me (but probably unrelated), was my realizing that K.I.T.T is/was a Firebird; a specific vehicle owned by and impressed upon me by another seemingly connected friend. Again, perhaps unrelated (this friend’s was red, did not talk, and was a decade later), but I have become aware that this friend is potentially connected to some of the others.
More to be revealed, surely…
